Gatherings for worship

On the 4th January the First Minister put Scotland into a temporary lock down and declared "Places of worship are required to close for worship, but can open for the purposes of leading an act of worship (broadcast or online), conducting a marriage or civil partnership ceremony or a funeral." The Minister will continue with the WhatsApp Service on a Sunday morning at 10 o clock until such times as this restriction is lifted.

Although gatherings for traditional Sunday Worship have ceased in our Church due to the Coronavirus, Sunday Worship has not.  Oakley Church has re-opened for a thirty minute service starting at 10 o clock on a Sunday morning. This service complies with all current COVID  19 guidence.  Therefore places are limited and must be pre booked on a Thursday evening by telephoning the Session Clerk on 01383850077 or 07425922750 between 6.30pm and 8.30 pm.

The Minister has established a Whatsapp group where a live Service takes place at 11.30 am each  Sunday morning, and a Prayer session at 7pm in the evening. All you need to join in,is down load the "Whatsapp" app for your smart phone and inform the Minister of your mobile phone number. You will then be added to the group.
